Band Expansion Project

Phase I of the Band Expansion Project is complete! The WG Foundation matched funds with the Dallas County Foundation (Grow Greene County) and Myrna Mayfield to purchase over $14,000 worth of new instruments for our growing band! We are currently on Phase II.

TAKE-A-SEAT!

The W-G Foundation kicked off the Take-A-Seat fundraising campaign in August, 2018 to raise the funds required to replace the aged auditorium seating in the Woodward-Granger Middle/High School. The project anchored a multi-year effort to update our entire auditorium, providing an excellent performance space for our new W-G Show Choir, growing bands, choirs, drama and speech teams. The seating renovation addressed safety and maintenance concerns, increases rehearsal space flexibility, and enables enrichment opportunities for the entire community, including recitals, reunions, scouting and 4-H. The Foundation raised over $34,000 from individuals, local businesses and grants. The new seats were beautifully installed in June, 2019!
